Behind the Logo

Meaning Behind The Logo

The two yellow roses represent our daughters, Elisa Martinez and Liana Lopez-Kasahara. On their birth day, they each received a yellow rose from their father, Lionel, as those were the brightest days of our lives. They are our daily dose of sunshine and inspiration. We are richly blessed.

The logo title represents working from the brilliantly lit sunroom while creatively writing the three-book series, thus SunRoom Books. The green symbolizes the tree characters in my books, Perry and Biggie. We have a pear tree next to our deck, with wind chimes, and a honey locust tree that towers over our home. So, one can say the characters are based on a true story.

When one feels well, the body is in harmony with its physical, emotional, and spiritual self, similar to the experience of reading a good book.  This shared experience is what our motto, "Read Well," is all about. We invite you to share this experience with us.
